Power Ranking the Remaining Survivor 48 Players

One episode into the new season and it’s looking like we are on our way to another fun season with a well-rounded cast. After Stephanie’s early exit, here are the remaining players ranked on their chances to win.

—-Writers’ note: List will be updated weekly

Tier D: 0% chance of winning (@Spencer)

17. David

David starts off here due to his brash and full of himself attitude that will not do him many favors if he were to somehow make it to the end of the game. I think he is a lock for the merge but appears headed for the jury early due to his physical prowess

16. Star

We didn't see much of Star in the premier but she is already on the bottom of her tribe. It doesn't give me much confidence in her future chances if her strategy is already lacking thanks to her looking for the idol on day 1.

15. Sai

While Sai is great and energetic television, but as we saw with Rome last year - these types of characters have a ticking clock at all times.

14. Chrissy

Chrissy could surprise me and take this thing all the way although I have trouble seeing people viewing her as a legitimate threat. She could possibly steal some “island mom” votes at the end but not much more.

Tier C: Longshots

13. Charity

Charity has the looks but maybe not the brains. that may be an early claim but Kamilla has already bested her and she didn't show much of strategic prowess.

12. Mary

I don’t have too much to report on Mary, but being not the wrong side of the first vote is almost the worst way to start.

11. Mitch

Mitch was all over the screen last week which is always a good sign. Unfortunately, Mitch has the feeling of the “self-growth” or “journey” arc where he is there to find himself and have fun.

10. Cedrek

Cedrek does not have much personality to him and will likely not get much screen time. coupled with being on the weakest tribe, unless something changes I don’t see a winning game here yet despite his composure.

Tier B: Dark Horses

9. Justin

Justin shared that he was laying the middle of the tribe and therefore I have placed him as such here hahaha.

8. Kevin

I’m hoping this shoulder injury doesn't screw him like Matt in season 44 but if it doesn't then we are gonna get a good look at a well-rounded player but on a poor tribe.

7. Bianca

Not getting much screen time is usually not a good sign in the premiere. However, I like what Bianca is selling here. She won’t be there first person gone on her tribe and is right in the middle full of huge personalities. I think she knows what she is doing.

6. Kyle

Kyle may have had a tough showing in the opener, but he is a nice and athletic guy who I think people are gonna have trouble voting out. Also, if his kindness towards Kevin pays dividends in the future that would be huge for him.

Tier A: Favorites

5. Thomas

Thomas is a sleeper that’s for sure. I was a little worried about his ability to bond with everyone but this all male alliance is proving me wrong. He’s very likable and on the best tribe which means he is on his way to a far performance.

4. Kamilla

Kamilla looks like she has a lot of charm, charisma, and intelligence despite her age and if people don’t realize that soon she’s gonna take off. Imagine Jem in Survivor 46 but more socially aware.

3. Eva

Eva’s story is heartwarming and her partnership with Joe could make it all the way. There isn’t much of a weakness despite her condition yet I could see her being too big of a jury threat when it gets down to it.

2. Joe

I wrestled with having Joe as my winner pick but for the same reasoning as Eva I just don’t think he will get a chance to give his case to the jury.

Tier S: Winner Pick

  1. Shauhin

Last but not least, we have Shauhin. Everything looks like it is working out in his favor here. Best tribe? Check. Alliance? Check. Likability? Check. He also got solid screen time, appears to be a beast in challenges which never hurts. I have yet to predict the winner in the new era but I’m feeling this is it!
